New Samples Released at Akron Convention

Here are the photos of the remaining new samples.  I'll do details in blog posts later this week, but hope this will do for now!



Summer Grid Card

 



The card dimensions are 4 1/4" x 8 1/2" and scored at 5 1/2" for the base card.  The smaller one is 3" x 8" and scored at 4".  I stamped our L20 Sm. Grid with black and embossed with clear embossing powder.  Then I stamped the inside designs -- A30 Bee, A46 Circle Rosebud, B45 Sm. Flip Flops and D41 Grill and embossed them as well.  I colored with Copics.

4th of July

 

 

Another cute card with such an easy fold.  Stamps used were G32 Happy 4th of July and C14 Striped Firecracker.  Such a quick card to make using colored inks with clear embossing powder.

Summer Picnic

The base card is 4 1/4" x 8 1/2" and scored at 5 1/2"  The smaller card is 3" x 8" and scored at 4".  I created the watermelon from circles cut a little larger than half way and used a 1/4" paper punch to make bite marks.  Our new A96 Ant stamp proudly marches across the bottom. 

How fun would it be to receive this card from someone who is "thinking of you" or perhaps an invitation to a picnic.  I love it!

Whimsey Vase with a Cute Fold

 

Here's the first of some summer cards I created using different folds.  The base card is 4 1/4" x 9" and then scored at folded at 5 1/2".  The bottom strip is 2" x 8 3/4", then scored at 2 1/8" , folded around the back of the card and then I folded the remaining flap.  Our I87 Whimsey Flower was stamped in black and embossed with clear embossing powder and colored with Copics.

All of the new summer cards were created using Vintage Summer paper pack from Little Yellow Bicycle.  I'll have some packs for sale at the Akron show.

Popcorn Snowman

This adorable little gift is simply a bag of microwave popcorn with stamped cardstock wrapped around it.  The "hat" is one glove from a pair of the dollar stretch gloves and tied with a red ribbon. I glued and then crimped the bottom to seal well.

The stamps used were E149 Snowman face, A33 Sm. outline heart and F90 Dot Christmas.
